I'm not a metal player, but to me it sounds as if it might be appropriate. I've always said that AmpKit had probably the best metal style tones. Modeller #3 - AmpKit+ (Clean: American Dual, Dirty: Colonel 900)

I guess this proves what a lot of people say, in that the Bias amps sound best when imported into JamUp PRO and have effects added ! I am guessing a lot didn't like it because Bias has NO effects, so the signal was very dry and 'distant' without the ambient effects. This one seemed either top or bottom for most people. Modeller #2 - Bias(Clean: '65 Blackface Vibro, Dirty: British Lead 800) I've said before that Amplitube us usually my 'go to' modeller for clean tones, and responses here seem to favour that

Modeller #1 - Amplitube (Clean: Twin Blues, Dirty: Lead 800) I saw this post drop way down the listing, thought nobody was interested in it and actually forgot about it for over a week! Anyhow, here is the sequence: I would appreciate it if other members here could hazard a guess (Note: The modeller order is the same for both clean/driven). I won't reveal which modeller is which until later. The recorded tracks are NOT in this order. The modellers used (in alphabetical order) are: There are two tracks - one is clean (Fender Twin Reverb), using my Tele, and one is driven (Marshall JCM 800), using my Gibson SG.

I also tried to use similar cabinets & effects chains where I could. Where I could, I tried to use similar amp models, and set the knobs are pretty much the same spots. effects are from the modellers themselves. I had to run the Cubasis mixdown through Garageband on my MacBook so that I could use the Slate Virtual Bus Compressors to boost the relatively low output levels on some modellers. I used prerecorded dry loops to keep the input track consistent. Note: These have ALL been recorded directly on the iPad itself, using Audiobus to route a pre recorded guitar loop into the various amp models and then recorded in Cubasis on the iPad. I wrote a brief review on here recently about my thoughts of the various iPad guitar modellers as at July 2014, now here are some short sound clips that I put together just so that everyone else could hear what these are like.
